Does any one know of how good a crossbow would work for rabbits and hunting.?

How far would a crossbows arrows go, and how close do you have to be when shooting a bow .

whats the prise of lost arrows for the crossbowDoes any one know of how good a crossbow would work for rabbits and hunting.?
I hunt Rabbits pretty regularly with my Horton Compound Crossbow. It has a scope mounted on it but Rabbits are fairly easy to hit at 35 yards or less with practice. The crossbow makes so little noise that even if you do miss, the Rabbits will stand there and give you time for another shot...lol

A decent Crossbow Bolt (Arrow) runs between 4-$7 each, for good ones, but unless you hit a rock and ricochet, they are easy to find. BTW..The bolts you use on Rabbits are Blunt Tipped so they don't penetrate the Rabbit, the shock of being hit kills them effectively and easily......

Crossbows are excellent for hunting Deer too.I've gotten probably 10 or so with a Crossbow in the last 15 years or so.....There are many states that you can legally hunt Deer with Crossbows.Does any one know of how good a crossbow would work for rabbits and hunting.?
If your that good of a shot it would work well I on the other hand like the 12 Ga
With some practice on a average crossbow, I think you could reliably put the bolts (arrows for a crossbow) is an a 2 or 2.5 inch circle consistently from 25 yards, and probably out to 40 yards.
