California Deer hunting!!looking for a good hunting location for deer?

I live in so california and i am going to take my first deer hunting trip. any tips on locations. What are good zones? I am not looking for a monster buck this time around just looking to get one. id go north...i live in redding and its good around here. but i also think that the north east tip is valid. private land is also good if you can find access. p.s. before you take your first trip i recommend you scout your location before your hunting trip, that way you have a better idea of the areaCalifornia Deer hunting!!looking for a good hunting location for deer?
go to NE california by the Oregon border! it's loaded !!!
Get a tag for Zone B and hunt North and East of Covelo. Lots of good Bucks and Public land.
