I'm in San Jose. Where is a good beach for seashell hunting?

I want to go to the beach on Sunday to find some nice shells. Does anyone know a local beach with rad shells?I'm in San Jose. Where is a good beach for seashell hunting?
The beach at Moss Beach is in the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve. You're not allowed to remove anything. Most of the nearest beaches are state beaches. You cannot remove shells from state beaches either. Your only choice would be a private beach like Martin's Beach and there is really nothing in the way of interesting shells there.I'm in San Jose. Where is a good beach for seashell hunting?
Moss Beach has some great tide pools. However, I don't believe you are allowed to remove any of the sea life. Shells might be OK. I'm not too sure.
